How many channels can I connect, and how many posts per month can I make?
It depends on your plan:
Free Ahrefs Webmaster Tools: 3 channels and 10 posts/month
Lite, standard and advanced: 10 channels and 50 posts/month
Enterprise: 100 channels and 1000 posts/month
Connecting a new social media channel
Start by heading over to Social media Manager, and click on “Connect a channel”.
Select the platform you wish to connect the account of. You will then be directed to that social media platform to log in.
Once you’ve logged in, authorize Ahrefs Social Media Manager the necessary permissions to work with your social media account.
Create and schedule a new post
Click on “New post” or the “+” symbol on the day of choice in the calendar:
Select one or more channels you wish to create the post for:
Enter in the post content and save as draft, or pick the date and time you wish to publish your post. You can select "Schedule for later" under Publish timing to pick a date and time in the future to make your social media posts.
Once you are ready, click on Schedule/ Publish!
Manage posts at every stage
Drag and drop posts on the calendar to quickly reschedule them
Click and hold on an event and drag it to the new day in the calendar to reschedule the post. Please note:
Doing this only changes the day. To change the time, click on "Edit post"
You can only drag and drop posts that have not yet been published.
Duplicate posts as a new draft
You can do this for any post by opening up the 3 dot menu on the right-hand side.
See the edit/publish history of any post
This is done from the 3 dot menu of any deleted or failed draft. You'll be able to see who, and what time a change was made to any post.
Recover deleted or failed drafts
This is done from the 3 dot menu of any deleted or failed draft. Note that only drafts made inside Social Media Manager can be recovered. There is currently no way to delete a post that has already been published.
