You might notice that the clicks-related metrics shown in Keywords Explorer only go up till the end of 2019.

This is due to a lack of clickstream data – we no longer have access to a large enough panel of clickstream data to support these metrics.

Are these metrics still relevant?

Yes. We choose to display them because looking at these trends still gives you important insights. Search query behavioral patterns generally don’t change that much, as you can see from past trends themselves.

Plus, search volume is still updated even if click-related metrics aren’t.

Will these metrics be updated in the future?

We plan to keep showing this data until we either find another way to update it or decide that it’s no longer relevant.

As it is, they still provide important insights about keywords.
