Funnels let you track how visitors move through key steps on your website. These insights can help you uncover potential issues, optimize user journeys and increase conversion rates.
You can use funnels to answer questions like:
How many visitors go from the homepage to the pricing page?
How many visitors view a product, add it to cart, and checkout their cart successfully?
How many visitors land on a blog post, sign up, and complete a key action in your app?

A step of the funnel is an action that a visitor takes on your website. Each step of the funnel further filters down the number visitors that took the same journey from the beginning up til the current step. Each funnel can include up to 6 steps, and can be a Pageview, or a Custom event.
