What is a brand kit?
Brand kits are a set of guidelines about a brand's voice or writing style. You can use it to generate AI content or audit existing content for style consistency and keep it on brand.
Where can I find and create a brand kit?
Brand kits can be found on the main page for AI Content Helper, next to the Documents tab.
How do I create a brand kit?
A brand kit can be created in just a few minutes using articles you've previously written. On the homepage of AI Content Helper, click on "Add brand kit".
In the New brand kit popup, fill in the domain of your brand, and add up to 3 Example articles. This is also where you can manage the access by other workspace members.
Then click on "Generate brand kit". AI will reference the information entered here to generate a set of brand voice guidelines.
Once done, a side panel will show up containing short text guidelines covering brand customers, competitors, values, writing persona, style rules, and more.
All fields can be edited for further customization, and you optionally can add custom variables that aren't covered in the default guideline fields. Some example of custom variables include:
Information about specific target customer segments
Explicit examples of content that performs well
Information about guests and collaborators
Additional text examples that captures your brand voice/style well.
Once done, click on "Save changes", and your Brand kit will now be ready for use.
How are brand kits used?
Brand kits can be applied to any AI Content helper document from its Settings:
This will be used by the in-line Ask AI function to suggest improvements to your content:
You can also add it as a reference document to AI Chat when asking questions or prompting it to generate specific text for using into your article's content.
