Once you've run a crawl of your site in the Site Audit tool, you might see a '3xx redirect' warning in the report under Internal pages menu:

3XX redirect refers to a group of response codes, namely: 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306 and 307.

This issue reports the internal URLs that redirect to another URL.

Why is it important for SEO?

Even though Google announced that redirects do not cause you to lose any PageRank, do keep in mind that Googlebot is not the only visitor of your website.

Redirects always require caution. They may hurt your website performance, especially for mobile users, or confuse website visitors if redirects are not done correctly.

It is recommended to replace the internal redirected URLs on your website with direct links where possible.
