Reports consist of widgets you can mix and match from Site Explorer and Rank Tracker. More widgets from other tools on the Ahrefs platform are coming soon.

Who can use the Reports Builder?
Everyone can build 1 report with up to 5 widgets per workspace for free. For more reports, you'd need to purchase our Report Builder Add-on:
Enterprise users can purchase a special tier of Reports Builder that can use unlimited reports and widgets per workspace. For more information, get in touch with our Enterprise team.
Where can I find the Reports Builder?
From the Dashboard, you will see a Reports tab under Portfolios on the left-hand side:
How do I build custom reports?
Create a new report
If this is your first report, you can click on the "Create report" button at the middle of your screen:
You can also create a new report from the "Create" button on the top left:
Adding widgets
Click on "Add widget" on the the top-right corner:
A menu will open that has two main sections to help you create your widget:
Set the target URL for your widget. This can be from an existing project, Portfolio, or any website or URL of your choice. Learn more about different target modes.
Choose a table or chart widget of choice. We currently support widgets from Site Explorer and Rank Tracker. More will be released soon.
Once the widget is selected, a dialogue menu will open up where you can configure the settings for this widget:
Once ready, click "Add widget", and it will appear at the top of your report, after which you can interact or rearrange it to your liking.
How different report widgets work
How do I edit or delete the report widgets?
Edit widgets
Click on the 3 dot menu on the top-right corner of any widget, and select "Edit". This will re-open the dialogue menu for configuring settings of the widget.
Re-organize the widgets
You can drag and drop the widgets to different locations in the report:
Delete a widget
Click on the 3 dot menu on the top-right corner of any widget, and select "Delete".
How can I export my reports?
Click on the "Print to PDF" button.
This will open up the print dialogue and preview how your report will look like. You can then either save as PDF or print with your device of choice.
Our team is working on a more ways to customize and export the reports soon.
Who can see my custom reports?
For Enterprise users, you can control who view the reports by clicking on "Shared" from the top right.
