Why is a page not in the "Top Content" report in Site Explorer?

Find out why some pages are missing from the “Top Content” report in Site Explorer.

The "Top Content" report shows the pages with the most shares of a target  website:

Whether pages will show up within "Top Content" is depending on quite a few factors:

  • its og: tags, title, etc.

  • amount of shares on social networks (Twitter, Pinterest)

  • if the page can be crawled

  • if it's already discovered by our bot

And so on.

👉 Please note: The Twitter API used to populate the Twitter share numbers is no longer functional. Therefore the Twitter shares data you see in Top Content report can be very out of date.
