If you have a legacy subscription, it will be switched to one of the new plans by the end of October 2024. You would have received an email about this to your billing email associated with your Ahrefs account.

If you have questions about this, reach out to our support team's live chat or email [email protected]

Difference between new and legacy plan

We have introduced our new plans on 18th March 2022, and have also subsequently updated prices on 22 April 2024. The newest Standard or higher plans have unlimited usage, and you can check our Plan & Pricing page https://ahrefs.com/pricing for more details.

Names of our 4 old/legacy plans are Lite, Standard, Advanced and Agency.

Names of our 4 new plans are Lite, Standard, Advanced and Enterprise (below image is from our pricing page):

If you are not sure which plan you have, please check this guide.

Steps to switch to a new plan from old/legacy plan

  1. Log into from your current account. Then head to https://app.ahrefs.com/pricing, choose a new plan you are after and complete the checkout process.

  2. Once payment for the new plan is made, please contact us either via [email protected] or live chat so that one of our support agents can help to cancel the current old plan you have had with us with a partial refund.

Important things you should know before switching from an old/legacy plan to a new plan

  • Since we no longer support old/legacy plans, it is not possible for you to upgrade/downgrade to another old/legacy plan.

  • Once you switch to a new plan and have the old/legacy plan terminated, it is not possible to restore the old plan anymore.

If you have any question about the new plans as well as how the plan switching works, please refer to this guide.
