Credit based plans
These are:
Current Starter, Lite plans
All plans purchased between 18 March 2022 - 21st April 2024.
Credit based plans have a monthly usage limit which can be increased by purchasing additional credits or add-ons. The limit depends on your plan's tier.
Using any tools except Site Audit and Rank Tracker will consume credits. Learn more about what actions consume credits.
Additional users are billed based on credit usage on their accounts.
Users that do not use credits are considered Inactive users (free).
Users that use between 5-100 credits per month are billed as Casual users.
Users that use more than 101 credits per month are billed as Power users.

Unlimited credit plans
These are the current Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise plans
Unlike credit-based plans, there's no monthly limit of how much viewing, searching, sorting or filtering that is done on Unlimited credit plans.
However, to protect our service to all users, we still monitor for suspicious activity that violates our Terms and Conditions. If detected, access may be temporarily restricted. Repeat offenders may have their account usage permanently suspended.
Additional users are priced based on your plan's tier. Unlike credit-based plans, all additional users are priced the same, no matter their usage:
Frequently asked questions
Is everything unlimited on Unlimited credit plans?
Browsing, filtering, sorting data on our platform is unlimited. However each plan has access to different tools, historical data, export limits, or can only view a max number of results per report:

Can I share login access of my Unlimited plan account with multiple people?
No. Access and usage on our platform still needs to abide by our Terms and Conditions. If usage of your account violates any of our Terms and conditions, you will likely find your Ahrefs account getting temporarily or permanently blocked.
If you need multiple users to share your Ahrefs subscription, please purchase additional seats so each person can login with their own account to share your workspace.
The same goes for unauthorized software use on our platform.
